Greater Easterhouse Common Housing Register

The Greater Easterhouse Common Housing Register is changing. The Common Housing Register  (CHR) is currently made up of 4 participating landlords Gardeen Housing Association, Easthall Park Housing Association, Calvay Housing Association and Lochfield Park Housing Association.  The CHR and Common Allocation policy have been operation for over 10 years, during this time the Greater Easterhouse area has seen significant development along with changes in both tenants and applicant needs and aspirations.  

Demand for housing has increased substantially and it is recognised that each landlord serves a unique customer base within its area as well as having differing resources, stock types and turnover.  It is felt that the CHR can no longer best reflect the needs of the individual member associations communities, and it is with this in mind that we are writing to you to inform you of the end of the Greater Easterhouse Common Housing Register with effect from the 31 May 2024.  From 1 June 2024 each of the member Associations will operate individual housing lists and allocation policies.  We believe this will be a positive change for applicants allowing for greater transparency and accessibility.
